Design and curriculum development for Annapurna Pluriversity: Living, Learning and Leading Regenerative Abundance.

Frederique Apffel-Marglin and Pramod Parajuli aim to resurrect the sense of 'place' and that of 'social justice' in this period of unfettered globalisation of the economy in two ways. Firstly, they offer a historical account and the critique of how and to what extent the rapid erosion of 'place' has occurred. Second, they valorize submerged places and peoples by offering an interpretation of 'place' as a site where both 'culture' and 'nature' speak, nurture each other, and together regenerate life.
