Project

Corrected History of the Big Bang Predictions ( CMB, Elements, Expansion; being reported at rsr.org/bbp )

Goal: Google: big bang predictions. Our page at https://rsr.org/bbp ranks #1. After interviewing physicist Lawrence Krauss on radio and hearing his statement (as consistent with NASA, etc.) that the big bang theory's confirmed predictions have validated the theory, we began to assemble a catalog of the theory's actual predictions and how they stand up to observation. So we've documented the theory's failed predictions and its failures to predict what has been found include:
- the theory's failed prediction of an entire universe worth of antimatter
- the failure to predict the universe worth of dark matter needed if the BB is correct
- the missing shadow of the CMB
- the CMB's "axis of evil"
- (Nobel laureate Wilson even mentions that the 2.7K CMB had been published 30 years before he and Penzias stumbled upon it)
- 2014's now withdrawn claimed discovery of inflation's gravity waves
- failed to predict inflation which is needed in a BB universe
- the theory correctly predicted only 1% (not 4%, not 98%, etc.) of the initial abundances of the elements
- failed prediction of magnetic monopoles
- mutliple failed lithium predictions
- failed prediction regarding the transparency of the universe
- the big bang theory introduction is widely pre-dated from 1931 into the 1920s
- discovery of the expansion is widely post-dated to Hubble
- the widespread pre- and post-dating aids in the canonical, though false, telling of the success of the big bang predictions
- and we reference dozens of other major failed predictions of the big bang.
