Any Passport in a Storm? British born people obtaining Irish passports post Brexit referendum

Goal: My MA research at the University of Leeds investigated the 'Brexit Irish' - British born people who acquired Irish passports following the UK's referendum to leave the EU. I am working on two pieces based on this research dissertation - a book chapter on external voting and a paper considering the motivations of the 'Brexit Irish' in pursuing Irish passports.

I was invited by Dr. Michaela Benson to take part in her podcast 'Brexit Brits Abroad'. The podcast is part of the wider Brexit Brits Abroad project, led by Michaela which looked into the lives of British people 'who have made their homes and lives in the EU-27'. We discussed my research into Irish passports, English and Irish identities and Brexit. You can hear the episode here: https://brexitbritsabroad.libsyn.com/from-the-brexit-irish-to-the-english-in-ireland
