in experimental design by two groups control and experimental, researchers phrase their hypothesis : there are differences in ......... between the control and experimental groups in favor to experimental group.that is good because statistically, the mean of the experimental group will be higher than the control group.my question is; if we are reducing a negative factor e.g. shyness, the mean score of the experimental group will be lower than the control group. can we phrase the hypothesis in favor to the control group? thanxxxx
Sometimes we need to use SPSS in testing hypothesis related to SEM , but the data (300 subjects) are not helpful in using path analysis , which needs a normally distributed data. So, what is the best solution to this problem? Thanks.
