Introduction
I am a post-doctoral fellow currently working on the CULT-AURAL project, funded by Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and hosted at the University of Barcelona. Within this project, fully titled "Aural Culture: Decoding the Sacred Soundscapes of Medieval Europe" (doi 10.3030/101064323), I am exploring medieval monastic soundscapes including sounds of large percussion instruments played outdoors, particularly looking at three distinct regions: Catalonia, Norway, and Serbia.
