在族际关系研究中，族际通婚被学界长期视作为一个敏感度极高的指标，其比例的高低常被用来判断族群之间的亲近程度。然而，这个指标在现实中却存在着信度和效度上的风险。本文以安徽省亳州市回汉两族的族际通婚为例，在充分的田野调查及文献研究的基础上，较为详细地说明了亳州地区回汉两族之间三种通婚模式的具体内涵，并从方法论和研究方法的角度指出，基于一般性的统计数据来研究中国特定区域的族际通婚及其对中国式民族关系的影响，其结论必然是低信度与低效度的。由于民族身份更改情况的普遍存在，安徽亳州地区的族际通婚将在一定程度上导致该地区回族内部民族构成的复杂化，并进而造成其文化认同的多元化。这些相当数量的虚假的族际通婚情况的存在，导致通过族际通婚状况来研判族际关系状况的做法难免欠妥；即是说，在此种情况下，以族际通婚为关键...
