He received his MSCS degree from UMT, Lahore. He is a CCNP (R&S) certified. He has more than 10 years teaching and professional experience. He is the author of several books. His research articles have been published in ISI & scopus indexed journals and international conferences. His area of research is transition from IPv4 to IPv6 Network as well as transition from physical network to software based virtual network. He is working on security challenges, packet traversing issues, routing scalability problems and QoE during co-existence of IPv4-IPv6 and over Network Services Virtualization (NSV).

The rapid growth of the Internet and a number of changes in the technology landscape have resulted to move traditional IPv4 networks to virtualized IPv6 networks. Reliable and fast delivery of network services with minimum hardware and lower cost are the main challenges for network operators in the modern technological era. Network operators are mo...
The fast growth of the Internet has resulted in IPv4 addresses depletion. Internet Service Providers (ISPs) are trying to replace their IPv4 networks with IPv6 gradually. IPv6 was launched with new features like simpler header format, larger address space, efficient routing and built-in security. IPv4-IPv6 transition process has been slow therefore...
This book encompasses virtual private network technologies theoretical as well as practical. In this project, it demonstrates how to VPNs actually work and their practical implementation with different lab scenarios step by step. The objective of this book is to teach the students and professionals in an easy way. The reader does not learn the theo...
Data structure is classified in different types such as array, stack, queue, link list, tree and graph. There is a range of operations in data structure like insertion, deletion, sorting and searching etc. These operations are written in an informal language that is called algorithm. This book encompasses data structure algorithms and their time co...
IPv6 is the next generation internet protocol which is gradually replacing the IPv4. IPv6 offers larger address space, simpler header format, efficient routing, better QoS and built-in security mechanisms. The migration from IPv4 to IPv6 cannot be attained in a short span of time. The main issue is compatibility and interoperability between the two...
Enterprise or campus networks are often large in size and are complex to manage. Network administrators need to frequently perform deliberate changes according to organizational needs. VLANs are broadly used in enterprise or campus networks to improve scalability, flexibility, ease of management and to reduce broadcasts. In inter-VLAN routing over...

This guide helps the readers to understand the next generation IP routing (IPv6 Routing) configuration step-by-step with LAB scenarios. There are two methods to configure IP routing. One is manually and second is dynamically. Manually is fixed but dynamically is done by the different routing protocols. This guide covers both manually and dynamicall...
The objective of this project is to teach how to configure, install, operate and troubleshoot routing protocols, switching concepts and security features on devices in an easy with LAB scenario step by step.
C++ is a high level computer programming language. It is the fundamental & core subject in all degree programs of CS&IT. It is very difficult for students in beginning. The goal is to teach the students in an easy way. You can follow it on YouTube. Programming Skills in C/C++: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLb0onFYCoKnhZTL2QJXvuuLmSabWpOvQV
Network Function Virtualization (NFV) is a new emerging technology that is introduced recently to provide network functions such like virtualized Routing, Firewall, VPN, load balancing, and storage throgh software based and decoupling dedicated hardware resources. It is eliminating hardware & proprietary concepts and shift tradional physical network to software based virtual next generation IP network. During this transition, there are many challenges. We are trying to mitigate these challenges through our research.
