A variety of chemical compounds has been released into water from industrial and agricultural activities and urban wastes. Some of those chemicals are harmful to living organisms and are resistant to degradation, thus named persistent organic pollutants (POPs). In efforts to manage chemical pollutants such as POPs in Asia, the United Nations Univer...
Bimetallic sulfides have particle rich surface due to which they possess novel electrical, optical and magnetic properties. Current research has undertaken the synthesis of Nickel and Manganese dithiocarbamate complexes and complexes were incorporated in bimetallic form by combine decomposition. Combined FTIR peaks confirmed the bimetallic complex...
The current study was carried to determine the ground water quality of three tehsils of Dera Ismail Khan District. Water sampling was carried out, using standard protocols from various sources of water, i.e., Tubewells and Hand-pumps. The collected water samples were analyzed for 13 water quality parameters, employing standard methods. Spatial vari...
Transition metal sulfides have attracted great attention owing to their
outstanding properties and varied applications in photovoltaic devices.
Ternary nickel cobalt sulfides are materials that have been considered
as good electrode material for high performance energy storage devices
owing to their higher electrochemical activity and capacity as c...
This study is based on the use of MgOP to treat solution containing fluoride and phosphate for adsorption. The characteristics of MgOP before and after adsorption were analyzed by XRD, FTIR, SEM and EDX. The experimental parameters included adsorbent dose, contact time, initial pH of solution, initial concentration of ions and the adding order of i...

A study has been designed for a fluoride adsorbent synthesized by a co-precipitation approach of Mg(II), Al(III) and La(III) salts (MAL) in 2:1:2 ratios. The prepared material illustrated relatively stable fluoride adsorption potential and an amorphous structure at temperatures lower than 600 °C. The defluoridation capacity of a 2 g L−1 adsorbent d...

I am looking for the historical background of adsorption behavior of rare earth metals, specially anions adsorption.
i am using a composites material of tri-metal oxides for fluoride removal. I observed an unusual behavior of two points of zero Charges on one composite material. I had repeated my experiments again and again but the results are same all the times. Now I am requiting researcher and scientists on research gate , please, if anyone can share information about two point of zero charges on one material, I would be really glade and thankful to him/her. I am really looking for positive responses from dear RG fellows.
