Flat mirrors have been a consistent part of optical systems with a need to be included in devices such asmicroscopes and spectrometers. Both the cases signify applications in which the limitations of flatmirrors are ever so important in the scope of modern optics, which has applications such as opticaltweezers that require high focusing efficiency...

This work studies the impact of the silicon (Si) loading effect induced by deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) of silicon master molds on the UV-nanoimprint lithography (NIL) patterning of nanofeatures. The silicon molds were patterned with metasurface features with widths varying from 270 to 60 nm. This effect was studied by focus ion beam scanning e...

An atomically thick AlN layer is typically used as the strain compensation layer (SCL) for InGaN-based-red light-emitting diodes (LEDs). However, its impacts beyond strain control have not been reported, despite its drastically different electronic properties. In this Letter, we describe the fabrication and characterization of InGaN-based red LEDs...

Metalenses are one of the most promising metasurface applications. However, all-dielectric reflective metalenses are rarely studied, especially regarding their off-axis focusing performance. After experimentally studying the material optical properties in this work, we propose reflective metalens based on titanium dioxide (TiO2) and silicon dioxide...

We demonstrate a neural network capable of designing on-demand multiple symmetry-protected bound states in the continuum (BICs) in freeform structures with predefined symmetry. The latent representation of the freeform structures allows the tuning of the geometry in a differentiable, continuous way. We show the rich band inversion and accidental de...

Despite the widespread interest in the metalens technology, few works show the errors during fabrication and analyze how they influence the focusing performance. In this work, we proposed a reflective metalens design and carry out a fundamental study on how a mild tapering angle (<6) of the nanopillars would influence the performance of a reflectiv...

Now I made tow types of magnetic nanoparticles. I want to compare there magnetic properties in order to conclude the advantages and disadvantages of using them as drug carriers. I would like to Know  What the point of measuring mass susceptibility of magnetic nanoparticles that will be used for drug delivary applications?  what information this property is going to tell us about its use in drug delivery applications?
