My research interests are in the field of GIS/RS, focusing on LULC, Landscape Ecology, Climate and Forest Management especially the application of geospatial technologies in landscape ecology and environment.
Ecosystem health is an important research topic. Several studies have mainly focused on ecosystem health assessment (EHA) on a large or medium scale, with only a few studies using small grids as research units. Based on the Vigor–Organization–Resilience–Services (VORS) model, which can adequately compute multiple ecosystem values for each land use...
Population growth, socioeconomic development, and rapid urbanization have exacerbated the deterioration of coastal ecosystems, particularly in the coastal region of southern China, which has experienced significant urbanization. A precise and timely insight into the ecological changes is indicative of economic and environmental harmonization in sou...
Landscape fragmentation and structural changes are associated with spatial ecological and social processes. Landscape fragmentation modeling and land use distribution analysis provide a framework within which landscape pattern and structure can be studied and quantified. The Greater Bay Area (GBA) is one of the fastest growing urban agglomeration i...
Land use and land cover (LULC) change analysis is a systematic technique that aids in the comprehension of physical and non-physical interaction with the natural habitat and the pursuit of environmental sustainability. Research regarding LULC’s spatiotemporal changing patterns and the simulation of future scenarios offers a complete view of present...
Land use land cover (LULC) transition analysis is a systematic approach that helps in understanding physical and human involvement in the natural environment and sustainable development. The study of the spatiotemporal shifting pattern of LULC, the simulation of future scenarios and the intensity analysis at the interval, category and transition le...
Hello respectable researchers. I am using slope as spatial variable which is generated from ASTER DEM, and having same coordinate system, cell size and extent as LULC data but still the geometry does not match while starting analysis in MOLUSCE in QGIS. Kindly guide me how to fix the geometry issue?
