Introduction: Cross-validity and cultural testing are crucial in ensuring the validity of psychological assessments, as language and cultural context can significantly influence the interpretation of test items and their outcomes. An estimated 400 million people speak Arabic with very little research specific on that population. Emotions are a cult...
We compared the physical and physiological responses of young soccer players of different ages U13 (Under 13 years), U15, and U17 and competitive levels (elite and sub-elite) during fixed pitch size small-sided games (SSGs) performed under different formats. In a cross-sectional design, seventy-two male players (12 players in each group) performed...

The GP.Mur red cell phenotype is characterized by the unique presence of glycophorin B-A-B hybrid protein on the erythrocyte membrane which promotes band 3 expression. Band 3, or anion exchanger-1, transports HCO 3 ⁻ across the erythrocyte membrane by exchange of Cl ⁻ ; this function of band 3 works in concert with intraerythrocytic carbonic anhydr...
Band 3 protein is a Cl-/HCO3- transporter on the red blood cell (RBC) surface with an important role in CO2 excretion. Greater band 3 expression by roughly 20% is found in people with the GP.Mur blood type. Intriguingly, a disproportional percentage of those with GP.Mur excel in field-and-track sports. Could higher band 3 activity benefit an indivi...
