Introduction
An incredible journey of life starting from a village enjoying the nature in 1970's experiencing various natural phenomenon in northeastern India a hub of biodiversity hotspot nurtured me an ichthyologist as a profession. Looking forwards to tell the story and advocate the local communities, stake holders and students the values and significance of aquatic resources of Northeastern India and needs of conservation and protection from the jaws of various threats.
