Introduction
Yoy Bergs is a lecturer and PhD candidate at both Breda University of Applied Sciences and Nyenrode Business University.
She finished a Master’s Degree in both Work, Health & Career and in Work & Organizational Psychology from Maastricht University. For both masters she conducted research on work-family conflict and its influence on specific health outcomes in the working population. Her research interests include sustainable employability, human capital, health & wellbeing, work-family conflict and emotional labour.
The proposed multi-method PhD research project aims to contribute to contemporary scholarly and societal work-life and burnout debates by presenting an alternative theoretical lens on the development of mental health complaints in today’s society.
