Introduction
Dr. Youssuf Gherbawy, a Professor of Mycology at South Valley University, Egypt, holds master's and doctoral degrees from Assiut University. His postdoctoral work at BOKU in Vienna advanced his research with molecular markers for fungal classification. He has published 101 journal papers, co-edited the book "Molecular Identification of Fungi," and supervised multiple graduate students. His work includes notable collaborations with German and UK institutions.
