Introduction
Dr. Uchitomi is Chief of the Innovation Center for Supportive, Palliative and Psychosocial Care, National Cancer Center Hospital and Deputy Director, Center for Public Health Sciences, National Cancer Center, Japan. Dr. Uchitomi has worked in the psychosocial oncology field, especially development of psychosocial and survivorship care for cancer patients and communication skills training for oncologists for over 30 years. His current interest is dissemination and implementation of psychosocial care into the cancer continuum. In order to support the multi-site collaborative clinical trial, the Japan Supportive, Palliative, and Psychosocial Oncology Group, J-SUPPORT was established in February 19, 2016. http://www.j-support.org/en/index.html
