全球胜任力培养已成为高等教育的重要目标,参与国际赛事志愿服务被认为是促进大学生全球胜任力发展的重要途径。对10名参与某国际赛事的大学生志愿者进行深入访谈发现,其全球胜任力在参与志愿服务活动后发生了积极变化,体现在文化认同、世界知识、跨文化理解、跨文化沟通能力和开放与尊重等方面。首先,得益于高强度赛前培训,志愿者的世界知识和跨文化理解水平变化最为显著;其次,志愿者全球胜任力态度与价值观变化程度居中,这源于志愿者的高内驱力和赛事期跨文化交际环境;最后,国际赛事有助于提升志愿者的全球胜任力技能,但囿于期限较短,其影响程度较小。基于研究结果,研究提出应提高服务性学习活动的比重、开设世界知识类课程以及创建真实的跨文化交流环境等建议。
