Introduction
Yonas T. Bahta currently works at the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of the Free State as a full professor and National Research Foundation-rated researcher (C2). As a researcher, he has been involved in agricultural trade, modeling (SAM, I-O model, CGE, and others), socio-economics, saving mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, marketing, price analysis, macro-economics, policy analysis, finance, food security, and development-related issues since 1996.
