I found that the PLS 2 can be used to analyse reflective model and most researchers reported their findings in journals.
However, in PLS 3, it was suggested to analyse reflective indicators (effect indicators) with common factor model using PLSc. PLS is suggested for formative model.
Is it also meant most of the previous studies /thesis reporting findings of reflective model with PLS analysis are not valid and not reliable? (there is no PLSc in PLS 2)
SPSS, Smart PLS and AMOS are three computer softwares for quantitative data analysis. Please let me know your experience of using the softwares (either one, two or the three softwares, please rate the software(s) you have used in data analysis) using the following Likert scale:
1=strongly satisfied
2=disatisfied
3=not sure
4=satisfied
5=highly satisfied
Please let me know your reasons if possible.
I am an author of academic book and journal article. The number of books and journal articles I have published are almost equal. However, I found that the majority of post-graduate students who contact me for discussion are my academic books' readers. So I think the impact or influence of academic book on university students is more than the impact of journal article.
I am not sure whether my thinking is right to you. What do you think? Which one has more impact and influence on university students or on you as an academician? Academic book or journal article?
I use Bayesian SEM to deal with negative variance of error term for my research model. I think it is a good method because it helps me to solve the problem of standardized regression weight > 1. But I would like to know whether Bayesian SEM analysis has any weakness, and is there any other option to deal with negative variance of error term in SEM analysis besides the method.
