Introduction
Dr. Yael Abadi-Reiss is a senior researcher at the Israel Antiquities Authority. She has served in key positions, including Academic Supervisor for the Southern District and Director of the Southern Education Unit. Abadi-Reiss has led over twenty archaeological excavations. Her research explores ancient lifeways in the Levantine deserts, focusing on stone, flint, and ceramic assemblages and their role in the development of complex societies.
