Introduction
My research is at the intersection of race, (im)migration, language, and literacy, focusing on how racialization functions surrounding language and literacy practices of (im)migrant youth and families within transnational migration contexts. Drawing upon critical theories of literacy and racialization, Asian American Studies, I conduct community-engaged, practitioner inquiry, and multi-sited empirical scholarship to promote anti-racist, multi-literacies education for im/migrant adolescents.
