Introduction
I am a research fellow and postgraduate tutor with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, part-time lecturer with the School of Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and Non-Executive Director of GeroPsych Consultants Pte Ltd. I am also a council member of the Gerontological Society of Singapore. I am a social scientist, geropsychologist, educator, entrepreneur and caregiver.

  • <HP3303 Geropsychology> This course introduces students to the biopsychosocial processes of and broad socioeconomic trends surrounding ageing. Adopting a multidisciplinary approach in understanding the ageing phenomenon, students are exposed to universal geropsychological processes, and locale-specific socioeconomic trends in Singapore. This course also imparts know-how in informal caregiving, psychosocial interventions, and policy/programme advocacy regarding ageing issues.
