Presently working as a Postdoc at Agrobiotech Gembloux, Liege University, Belgium. My research interests are allelopathy; weed control; Secondary Metabolites, Genome Sequencing and Transcriptomics. Allelopathic plants release certain secondary metabolites that suppress the growth of neighbouring plants. These can be employed as natural herbicides, however, how can we make them target specific that these should effect only the weeds and not the crop plants in an agroecosystem.
