Introduction
Wan Kamal Mujani has 27 years of experience in academic fields such as History and Islamic Civilization, Muslim Historiography and Arabic Texts and Sources in Islamic History. His main research interest has been in the areas of Islamic Historiography and Economic History in the Middle East, Levant & Mediterranean. Wan Kamal received a degree (B.A Hons.) from al-Azhar (Egypt), a M.A from The National University of Malaysia and a Ph.D. in Economic History from the University of Manchester, UK.
