Questions
Question (1)
Development of new gas network in such cases seems to be expensive, needs land expropriation, time, resources and closing of the traffic, etc. Could, for example make local gas storage for each building and establish a smaller and organized local gas networks for one or several buildings using special pipes placed along building's facade and could deliver gas to each and every household within the building(s)?
Something similar I have already seen in Japan, where a special company is responsible for gas distribution for such small local grids (one or several buildings closely placed or even a small block of buildings or houses) by means of trucks that deliver on regular basis to each local storage specific amount of gas cylinders, replacing empty ones with new ones.
Can somebody provide me with more information on establishing and operation of such distribution system lof natural gas or city gas to final customers?
Thank you.
