Introduction
I analyze and interpret data on the geophysical structure and chemical composition of hydrothermal plumes within the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Methods used: CTD sensing (with a methane sensor), flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry, statistical analysis (correlation and regression), mapping in Surfer. At the moment I am studying the distribution of elements-indicators of hydrothermal activity (Cu, Zn, Fe, Mn) in the hydrothermal plume near the Ashadze-2 hydrothermal field.
