In receivers with frequency conversion, false artificial signals, so-called "Birds", may occur at the frequencies and their harmonics of internal heterodynes. The SDR receiver HackRF One is implemented using a double frequency conversion scheme. The peculiarity of artifacts is that their frequency changes depending on the range and method of processing. This, in particular, makes it possible to distinguish artifacts from true signals.
Can anyone help me find documentation on spectral processing algorithms in HaсkRF & PortaPack?
Please don't send me links to huge libraries of complete source code for the entire system. I need specific guidance on implementation details.
