Introduction
I hold a PhD on Blockchain Technology from the University of Namur and the KU Leuven. My topics of interest are focused on the design and implementation of blockchain-based solutions supporting cross-organizational processes.
Now, I am working as an independent blockchain consultant and trainer, and I'm lecturer in Information Systems at the University of Namur.

Smart contracts can be used to support the execution of cross-organizational business processes involving mutually distrusting participants. Model-driven engineering is often used to generate such contracts and requires an appropriate blockchain-enabled process modeling language. Although artifact-centric languages are recommended in this context t...
Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are digital certificates of ownership that can be attached to virtual or physical assets. Recently, they have become increasingly popular, especially with the advent of metaverse, virtual spaces shared and accessible online. Many brands are launching NFT initiatives for various reasons including retaining customers, devel...

Blockchain technology has been proposed as a valuable infrastructure for the implementation of cross-organizational business processes in which trust among the participants is limited. Previous work called for new engineering methods to efficiently specify and deploy such processes. In this context, model-driven engineering comes as a promising sol...
Model-driven engineering is a promising software development methodology that has been investigated in the context of blockchain-based information systems development. Many approaches propose to specify and generate individual components part of such systems’ architectures using this methodology. In this paper, we provide a high-level overview of t...
Hackathons are problem-focused programming events that allow conceiving, implementing, and presenting digital innovations. The number of participants is one of the key success factors of hackathons. In order to maximize that number, it is essential to understand what motivates people to participate. Previous work on the matter focused on quantitati...

Questionnaire and Interview Guide used to collect data from hackathon participants about motivators, demotivators and potential for citizen participation.
This document can be used as a support to understand the paper "B-MERODE: A model-driven engineering and artifact-centric approach to generate smart contracts" (not yet available).
It presents the case of a rice supply chain which is modeled first using MERODE and then using B-MERODE, an adaptation of MERODE proposed in the paper at hand.
Blockchain technology is argued to have the potential to facilitate the development and improvement of cross-organizational business processes, on various aspects of the business process management discipline. In this paper, we review existing work on the use of blockchain technology to support business processes with a focus on cross-organizationa...
Several techniques can be used to solve multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problems and to provide a global ranking of the alternatives considered. However, in a context with a high number of alternatives and where decision criteria relate to soft goals, the decision problem is particularly hard to solve. This paper analyzes the use of artificia...
