Introduction
working as an Associate Professor in Centre for Climate Change and Disaster Mitigation (CCCDM) at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Hyderabad, India. Completed Ph.D. in Agronomy from the University of Agricultural Science, Bangalore. Gained experience in Regional Centre, National Afforestation and Eco-Development Board (MoEF), Bangalore on Mangrove restoration, Shelterbelts, Joint Forest Management, Agro-forestry and presently working on Community Based Disaster Risk Management in NIRD&PR, Hyderabad. Worked on AICRP project on ‘Use of Sewage Effluents in Irrigating Plantations Crops’. In the total tenure of 17 years of research and training experience published several research papers and edited books.
