Introduction
Vanessa earned her Licenciatura degree in Psychology from the University of Costa Rica and her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from Philipps-Universität Marburg (Germany). She is professor at the Institute for Psychological Research of the University of Costa Rica. Her research interests are social cognition, intergroup relations, acculturation, social psychology of health, quantitative research methods, and psychometrics.
