Introduction
My work focuses on the environmental changes that occur in the coastal wetlands of Samborombon Bay in Argentina due to anthropogenic modifications in the hydrological regime. There are protected natural areas, however, a large part of the wetland is private, being extensive cattle ranching, which is the main productive activity in this area. To expand the cattle grazing areas, many producers make embankments to claim salt marshes land.
