This Research Topic aims at analyzing the new forms of sexuality and relationships associated with technologies and social networks. Another goal is to investigate recent advances and studies on gender fluidity, sexual identity, and psychological issues related to sexuality in contemporary society, with greater attention to future perspectives and programs in promoting sexual well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The articles accepted will be publish for Frontiers in Psychology or Frontiers in Sociology. We are interested in different types of articles: narrative and systematic review, original research, perspective, and conceptual analysis; quantitative and qualitative methods are suggested. The manuscripts should be aimed at exploring the following research topic according to a psychological and sociological point of view: sexuality and technology, social network, sexting and revenge porn, gender fluidity, sexual dysfunctions, interpersonal violence, sexuality and COVID-19.

Starting from agency and efficacy of amateur images, with particular attention to the performativity of documentary and self-representational forms, the project aims to pursue interdisciplinary action-research methodologies in order to therapeutically intervene on selected diseases and disorders. Thanks to the success of the preliminar trial, in November 2019 a medical clinic exclusively dedicated to Therapeutic Filmmaking and Neurodevelopment Autism Spectrum Disorders was inaugurated at the Infantile Neuropsychiatrics department of the “Ruggi d'Aragona” Hospital, Salerno.
