We assessed the safety of menstrual cups when used by women the poor socio-economic stratum in Zimbabwe. This was a prospective interventional were 52 sexually active women from the Epworth district in Zimbabwe were given menstrual cups for menstrual cycle management. The study showed that menstrual cups are acceptable, safe and convenient to use.
