Introduction
Originally a physicist by training, I am now interested in the interdependences between societal and technological change especially in the areas of transportation and ICT, in conceptual and methodological questions of technology assessment as well as in the governance of innovation processes. I am currently deputy director of the Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) at KIT and head of its research group ‘Mobility Futures’ .
