Introduction
Tomislav Bašić holds BSc/MSc degree in Surveying Engineering, earned at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Geodesy, Croatia and PhD in Geodetic Science, earned at the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany. His core area of teaching and researching is physical geodesy (gravity field), state survey and geodynamics. He completed the specialization in Institut für Erdmessung Hannover and post-doctoral research in Department of Geodetic Science and Surveying, Ohio State University, Columbus, USA.
