Project
Project deals with program Centre of Competence supported by Technological agency of Czech Republic. Project is focused on highly innovative topics with high application potential in the field of industrial realisation and new “high tech” production. Research centre activities are focused on application of advanced materials and hybrid technology for functional electronic devices. The results of the project will be simple technological procedures of functional components and nanostructures application on flexible substrates by combination of methods nanoimprinting, nanoembosing and conventional printing techniques. The main target of project is application of new developed materials by developed technology for low-cost printed flexible electronics, mainly in the field of “smart package”, “smart textiles” and holographic security components.
Project
SUBATEX project is focused on development of technological solutions and industrial realization of "energy harvesting" system in the field of smart textiles. These systems are used for the acquisition and storage of energy for powering electronic systems integrated in textile products equiped with sensoric and communication functions. The developed solution lies in the realization of flexible power platform that combines flexible energy sources (particularly photovoltaics) with flexible storage systems (thin-film batteries or supercapacitors). Adequate power storage systems will be developed for Smart Systems integrated into textile products and disposable or short-term use. Industrial production of these low-cost flexible energy sources will be realized using spining, printing and coating technologies by R2R process. These resources allow conversion and storage of energy from renewable sources and will be utilized in the market as an autonomous product of flexible electronics.
