Introduction
Tom Brown studies a Masters in Public Administration at the School of Public Leadership, Stellenbosch University. Tom does research in Higher Education governance, leadership, policy and administration. His current project is 'Colonial, Apartheid, Post Apartheid: A comparative multi-case study between the governance structures of a Historically White University ( HWU) and a Historically Black University ( HBU) in South Africa, its implications for governance and its link to student engagement'.
