Introduction
My primary research interests are paleoclimatology and paleoecology of ancient terrestrial ecosystems. I use sedimentology and geochemistry to reconstruct terrestrial paleoenvironments and provide detailed paleoclimatic information for comparison with faunal data. I emphasize the importance of connections between the biosphere, atmosphere, and geosphere in deep-time paleoenvironments, and use the sedimentary and fossil records to reconstruct details of ecological interactions.
