I would like to compare aspects of episodic memory across two groups that are to do with characteristics such as clarity, vividness and emotional connection. I quite like the characteristics listed in Johnson et al.'s (1988) Memory Characteristics Questionnaire but am worried that this seems to be adapted for every different study to the extent that we don't know if it is a reliable tool.
