Introduction
Tiago M. Fernández-Caramés is a computer scientist and Ph.D. that works since 2005 at the University of A Coruña. Since 2007 he also works as a Professor at the same university, teaching different subjects related to electronics, embedded systems, communications and multimedia systems. He participated in almost 40 research projects, co-authored more than 50 papers in high-impact journals and conferences, two book chapters and four patents. His interests include IoT and IIoT systems, augmented reality, RFID, wireless sensor networks, embedded systems. wireless communications and Industry 4.0.
