Introduction
My PhD research investigates the role of governance on health supply chains. Specifically, it focuses on cancer drugs procurement. The main argument is that employing catalytic governance through involvement of patients, their families and other lay actors in the procurement of drugs will improve access to drugs. Involvement leads to information symmetry which improves accountability and transparency. The study covers Botswana, Hungary and the Netherlands.
