Introduction
My research in evolutionary biology / behavioural ecology focuses largely on causes and consequences of variation in flexible traits. I have worked variously on sexual signalling in crickets, stress-related behaviour and physiology in guppies, and cooperative behaviour in mole-rats and meerkats. I am interested in plasticity and trait linkages, and the effects of the social environment on behavioural variation.
