During my PhD work at CNRS, I elucidated a mechanism by which a T6SS toxin is injected into epithelial cells and targets the gamma-tubulin complex, resulting in microtubule-dependent internalization of P. aeruginosa. I then studied the impact of nitric oxygen synthases on AIM2 inflammasome activation during F. novicida infection, at INSERM. I currently studies the intracellular lifestyle of S. Typhimurium as well as the role of its T6SS for gut invasion, at Stanford University.
