Introduction
My name is Therese Grohnert, researcher in Professional Development at Maastricht University, Educational Research & Development. How professionals learn at the workplace, how they develop expertise and how both formal and informal learning can enhance performance are my key research interests. In my current project, I focus on how professionals learn from critical incidents to avoid being overconfident in complex judgments and decisions.
