Introduction
Theresa Birnbaum currently works as a research assistant at the Centre for higher teacher education and research at the University of Leipzig. Here she is project coordinator of the project "Diversity in Teacher Education and Schools" (VieLeS). Before that she worked at the the Herder-Institut (Leipzig University).
Theresa does research in Didactics, German as a Second Language and Teacher Education.
She is currently working on her PHD Project concerning professionalisation processes of teachers
