Introduction
Thamer Khaz’al Al-Ameri is PhD graduate of Kings College London (1980) and Professor of Palynology and Petroleum Geology in the Department of Geology, University of Baghdad till now with experiences and consultancies in hydrocarbon exploration, sulfur mining, geoarcheology, stratigraphy and environmental applications of sedimentary organic matters who supervised 35 PhD and 30 Msc thesis with achievements for oil, sulfur, archaeology, conferences and authoring 150 articles and 6 books.
