本研究では,小学校第6学年を対象に人工知能(Artificial Intelligence,以下「AI」と略す)の画像認識について理解する学習教材を開発し,児童のAIの活用意欲やAIに対する理解,印象の変容から授業を評価した。授業は,画像認識の仕組みを題材にして,AIについて体験的に理解する学習を2単位時間,身近な問題解決にAIの活用を体験する学習を2単位時間で実施した。得られた結果より,AIについて体験的に理解する学習によってAIに対する理解が促され,AIの活用を体験する学習によって,AIに対する印象を肯定的なものへと変容させ,AIの活用意欲を高めることが示唆された。
本研究では,小学校第4学年理科「物のあたたまり方」の単元で日常生活や社会との関連を図るアニメーション教材を開発し,その効果を検証した.その結果,開発したアニメーション教材を使用すると,学習内容と日常生活や社会との関連に気づき,理科学習に対しての興味が高まること,アニメーション教材に,児童が選択したり,繰り返し試行したりできるような機能をつけることで,思考を深めようとする理科学習に対しての興味が高まること,正しい概念形成が促されることが示唆された.

シンガポール,エストニア,イタリアの 3 カ国において,初等教育の過半数以上の学校で実施されているコンピュータサイエンス(CS)に関するパイロットプログラムが導入されている。本研究では日本の初等教育における CS 教育に活かす観点を見出すことを目的に,その特徴を学習目標や学習内容に着目して調査した。その結果,これらのパイロットプログラムには(1)教育省が資金面,体制面,広報面などに責任を持っていること,(2)児童生徒向け教材や,指導用の教材,教員研修などが充実しており,指導の負荷を下げる取り組みが行われていること,(3)児童生徒の将来に必要な知識・能力の観点から,時代の必要性を反映した学びが導入されていること,などの特徴があることが見いだされた。
本研究では,初等中等教育において,コンピュータサイエンスの体系的な指導に役立つ有益な示唆を得ることを目的に,初等中等教育の学習内容と大学・社会人に求められる情報技術の基本的な知識・技能等を,コンピュータサイエンスの観点から整理・分析した.分析にあたっては,K-12 Computer Science Framework[1]を用い,初等中等教育は新学習指導要領,大学はカリキュラム標準一般情報教育[2],社会人はITパスポート試験シラバス(Ver.4.0)[3]を対象に内容分析を行った.その結果,コンピュータサイエンスに関する学習内容は各教科等横断的に記述が見られること,また初等中等教育の期間に記述が見られなかったり,段階的な深まりが見出しにくい概念や実践が存在したりすることが確認された.
