I am associate Professor of Policy, Planning, and Development at the Department of International Affairs at Qatar University. My research over the past 16 years has been concentrated around the following three interdisciplinary themes/topics:
1- Economic geography and geography of innovation.
2- Developmental patterns and economic diversification in the GCC.
3- Sustainability and innovation within food systems in the MENA and the Balkans regions.
