Introduction
I am currently focused on social justice issues, particularly those with legal implications, such as stalking, sexual harassment, and microagressions. Beyond that, I really enjoy helping students develop their own research skills, so I am involved in several studies with students. I'm currently brainstorming ways to get those individual students to connect with, and learn from, each other, as well as working on larger projects related to sexual assault.

Background: This manuscript describes a study on the frequency of child sexual abuse among conservative religious groups, with Amish and Plain Mennonites as a specific focus. It also covers the language used to discuss child sexual abuse in these communities, as well as some of the impacts of the abuse on those abused and the people in their lives.
