Introduction
I possess a multidisciplinary background in Geoscience and Observational Oceanography. My past research includes the investigation of microplastic pollution in available marine fish species in the Northern Bay of Bengal and the eco-hydrology of the Meghna estuary. Additionally, I studied the influence of nutrient availability on chlorophyll concentration in the North-Eastern Atlantic Ocean. My research interests are focused on Marine Ecology, Plankton Dynamics, Ocean Processes, and GIS.

Cigarette butts (CBs) have serious harmful effects on the environment and living organisms despite their small size. This research aims to investigate the abundance, densities and pollution status of CBs in Cox's Bazar Sea beach. The survey was conducted between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. in February 2023, during the peak season of the year. A total of 13,...
The central coast of Bangladesh is dynamic for its geographical location, hydrodynamic characteristics and residual flow. The research employed the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS), an ArcGIS extension tool, to conduct a historical trend analysis of shoreline. The study demonstrates that the central coast is eroding to the north and accreti...
Knowledge on phytoplankton dynamics is important to understand the trophodynamics of aquatic ecosystems. But, the topic remains poorly studied in the context of tropical coastal habitats. The present study describes the community structure and drivers of phytoplankton in different coastal habitats along the northern Bay of Bengal. Data were collect...
