The Barisal Drowning Reduction Project aims to test a multi-stakeholder approach to drowning reduction within the Barisal sub-region of Bangladesh. The ultimate objective is to test the theory that co-ordinated and comprehensive national and sub-national level responses can effect a significant reduction in drowning at the national and ultimately global level. This is a Royal National Lifeboat Institute funded project with CIPRB as collaborators and The George Institute as academic partners.
